Truth of Mistaken Assumptions

As long as we believe in the truth and abide in it, by God's good timing He will lead us into His blessings for us who love Him.

  1. Fake Pseudo-Universalist Christians

by , 08-02-2016 at 04:25 PM (Truth of Mistaken Assumptions)
This will be interesting to see if anyone answers this thread.

Let's say you know someone who claims to believe in Jesus but never gives the gospel of salvation to anyone, not even in the slightest. There is no compassion or empathy or concern by them for others who are perishing. They never go to Church. It's as if Jesus does not exist even though they claim to believe in Him when challenged. If everyone who was saved was like this there would be no Church.

It's as if they know what we want to hear from them to believe in Jesus. But they are not willing to go so far as to say people who reject Christ are going to Hell even though Jesus spoke on Hell more than anyone and the gospel of salvation is clear if you don't accept Christ you will go to Hell. That's the gospel, or at least part of the gospel.

They have never read the Bible. So they could care less Jesus said, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish [not go to Hell], but have everlasting life" (John 3.16).

On top of that, prior to you yourself being saved, that fake Christian never brought up Christ even once. And even today they still don't. You would have to start the discussion always. You may have known them for decades. They may have accused you of being a "fanatic" when you first gave your life to Christ. How in the world is that accepting a new member of the body of Christ? Now all of a sudden years after you were saved they claim they themselves were saved all along. Then why did they never bring Christ up? I have never known such evil before!

This same person also lashes out or gets angry every time you call them out for not being a Christian because they don't accept the Jesus who sends people to Hell, particularly family members and close relatives who reject Christ. Does that not strike you as a self-centered faith? All things center on them, because by virtue of them claiming to be saved everyone in their sphere of influence is saved, but outside that sphere others are not necessarily saved. Total lunacy!

I am sure there is a better name for it, but I call this Fake Pseudo-Universalism Christianity because everyone is saved in their sphere of influence even if there are those in the sphere who reject Christ or call themselves atheists, agnostic, deist or adamantly state they don't believe in religion. I always thought ...
  2. How do you really lose weight? Plan for the next 30 days

by , 01-05-2015 at 12:46 AM (Truth of Mistaken Assumptions)
You have to keep track of your calories for breakfast, lunch and supper. Lookup that item for its calorie content and create a list of the foods you eat and their calories so you don't have to search for the item again on the internet. Keep adding new foods to your list.

You need to have 3 meals: 8-9 am, 12-1 pm, 5-6 pm. No snacking. Your liver snacks in between by itself. And you have to set out all the calories for you next days' meals so you know exactly what you are having for each meal. Treat this as a game. If you find that you are not keeping to the plan then you have to brood over it more on your excel spreadsheet. Create a new column for the next day. Observe the clock constantly for when you can have your next meal. If it is 12 am, you have 8 hours to suffer. If it is 2 pm, you have 3 hours to suffer. Keep reminding yourself.

Next, you have to determine how many pounds you want to lose and multiply that by 3500 calories per pound. Let's say you want to lose 6 pounds. 6 x 3500 = 21000 calories. Subtract from that 21000 calories what you burn working out. Determine how many times you will workout in the next month, say 12. You generally burn about 500 extra calories per workout. 12 x 500 = 6000. 21000 - 6000 = 15000. 15000/30 days = burn off 500 per day. If you utilize 2000 calories a day normally, you will need to stay under 1500 calories/day to reach your goal in 30 days.

Simple. The essential part of this if you are faltering you have to brood over these details more. Stare at your excel spreadsheet more until you feel you are in control. Be extremely vigilant! Some people have to stare at the clock and their excel spreadsheet all day long. So be it! If that's what it takes!

Studies have shown those people who were over 300 lbs. who permanently stayed under 200 lbs. for the long haul did exactly this. Nothing else works. This is the only solution. The Holy Spirit of Truth told me so.

You don't need to buy a book. Just follow these instructions precisely and you'll be fine. You will do what you have never done before! I'm a Christian telling you the best way to do things. The minute you stop looking at the clock and your excel spreadsheet is when you are susceptible to mistakes.

It becomes even easier to achieve if your spirit, soul and body of your temple are receiving spiritual strength by reading a Christian book for 1 hour and the Bible for 1 hour in the morning before ...
  3. Simulating God's Grace

by , 10-19-2010 at 05:32 PM (Truth of Mistaken Assumptions)
There is no such thing as Total depravity, because God has has provided sufficient grace to us all, leaving none of us without excuse. If we are without excuse, we are to blame if we don't receive what Jesus did for us. We can't blame God for being Totally depraved because no such condition exists.

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men" (Tit. 2.11).

Then what have Calvinists been indoctrinated into? The evil spirit's facsimile of God's saving grace in which the victim delusionally believes he did not have to repent and believe in Christ to be regenerated.

  4. You Call This Grace? I Don't. I Call It Sheer Evil

by , 12-26-2009 at 08:37 AM (Truth of Mistaken Assumptions)
"According to the good pleasure of His will" (Eph. 1.5) the Father "himself is righteous, and that he justifies him who has faith in Jesus" (Rom. 3.26). Only those who have "received him...[and] believe on his name" become the sons of God (John 1.12-13). Jesus is offering Himself in John 6 not to an elect but to the entire unbelieving multitude, showing the gospel is for all. Pleading with you Jesus says, "My Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.... I am the bread of life" (vv. 32,35). The offer is to everyone, but the partaking is willingly from the heart. God pleading with Israel and mankind to repent are nonsensical if there are those from whom He withholds the grace to repent and the faith to believe.

A Calvinist should be very leery the bolt of lightening he received (irresistibly) that caused him to worship without any prior repentance and faith, actually had "beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven" (Luke 10.18). There is no purpose in trying to believe, because in Calvinism a person is unable and would only lead him to the delusion of thinking he is saved through the flesh which turns people off of Christ by misrepresenting Him. Instead, he just accepts any old flashing light as though from God on High as "Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light" (2 Cor. 11.14).

Why do some Calvinist like James White say, "May God grant us grace to hear and obey His Word" (p. 132, Debating Calvinism)? How can He grant grace to those He has from eternity predestined to eternal torment? Why pray for that since it will do no good? Why pray to God to grant us when his god has already decided? His praying will not alter the reprobate that received preterition and those who are to be irresistibly selected. Why be a doubletalker, putting on a mocking charade, unless you don't have a conscience to see your doublespeak? And why preach the gospel, giving a false hope? If this is evil for us to behave this way, to dangle a thread in front of someone but never allowing them to reach it, then why not the god of Calvinism?

Think how evil it is to worship a god whose heart is "according to God's good pleasure...the just punishment of the wicked" (p. 138, James White). How could it give God pleasure to have to damn people to Hell? This makes us sad, why not God?

What is the point of, "Choose ...
