Salvation is So Simple
Einstein and Aristotle who were the smartest were theists. Anthony Flew the most published atheist of the 20th center converted from atheism to theism. There is a long list of the brightest minds, scientists and others, being theists and not atheists.
How do we know God exists? The argument goes as follows. If there is this alleged infinite regress of cause and effects of nature, by that definition you would have had an eternity to come into being before now, so you should have already happened. Therefore, nature needs a cause outside itself, outside of time and space, being uncreated. This uncreated Creator is whom we call God. Therefore, if you are agnostic or atheist, polytheist/Mormon (they believe in an infinite regress of gods creating gods just a fancy way of being atheist and besides there can only be one uncreated Creator), etc. you are living a lie.
Since God is accessible there are only 3 possibilities: Christianity (Trinity), Hinduism (Brahma), Islam (Allah). Buddhism is usually considered atheist. In other words, they are large enough to span the globe, and all other claims are just too small, not accessible. Of these 3 only one is Personal, for only in Christianity does God enter His creation. And there is no greater love since Jesus died for you. Only in Christianity is the proof an overwhelming preponderance of evidence beyond a reasonable doubt since nobody has been able to find a naturalistic explanation to account for the eyewitness testimony of the Apostles seeing, being with, Jesus alive from the dead. For example, group hallucinations are impossible according to the DSM 5 Psychology manual. And nobody would believe in a resurrected Jesus if He was unable to walk, scourged down to the bone, pierced hands, chest, feet, head. A resurrected Jesus has His wounds healed and walks upright.
Understand you are a sinner, sin separates you from God. Therefore, you can't go to Heaven since there is no sin in Heaven. You must go to Hell to keep you away from us, God's children. Everyone would go to Hell if a solution was not provided. The solution is your Creator takes all your sin upon Himself to forgive you, if you are willing to accept it.
Why don't some people accept His mercy and saving grace on the cross? Ultimately it has to do with self-righteousness, self-exaltation, the love of sin and selfishness that you would rather not be reconciled to God, and instead be with the Devil, his Antichrist, his False Prophet, and all unregenerates. They prefer to be tormented souls. Free will has the choice.
When we communicate with God we do so by spirit. Holy Spirit makes contact with spirit. The Holy Spirit resides in the spirit of those who are born-again, that is, their spirit is quickened with God's life which is uncreated life. Those who are not saved have no way of communicating with God because their spirit is dead to God. Their spirit is not regenerated nor indwelt by the Holy Spirit. God communicates first with spirit and not the soul of man (mind, will, emotion). The soul is rougher than spirit. The spirit has the functions of intuition, communion and conscience and runs deeper than the soul of man. Just think, if you had no spirit, you would have no way of communicating with God. Fortunately since God is Spirit he can impart His word to us firstly through man's spirit. God considers your spirit of utmost importance and only then when it has received from God what God wants to impart will it be delivered to the soul of man and renew his mind, will and emotion.
An example of why you don't receive what God has provided is the same reason you don't read deeply what I just wrote. Why should a disobedient soul care about such things? That's the position that you take, and why you are lost. It is a matter of attitude and shallowness.
