Joel Olsteen Said There Are Many Paths to Jesus

Sounds like universalism or close to when Joel Osteen at 5:35 said "There are many paths to Jesus." I thought the cross was the only way to Jesus.

At 6:35 Oprah Winfrey said "It is impossible there can only be just one way." Someone in the audience said, "What about Jesus?" Oprah responded cluelessly, "What about Jesus?"

[2Jo 1:9-11 KJV] 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Don't be unequally yoked with non-believers. When I watch Osteen it doesn't make me feel good, but I feel like Satan is prodding me on through Osteen to fill my greedy and selfish desires. I've asked God to send me to Hell if Osteen is a Christian.

At 30 seconds in Joel Osteen was asked if Mormons are Christians. Joel said, "In my mind they are." Mormons claim Jesus is the brother of the Devil and remove the cross from all their buildings. They also claim they always existed as pre-existing spirit beings, or what they like to call intelligences, though they can't remember their pre-existence. Therefore, they are not created in God's image but always existed in God's image. Mormons claim they are their redefined meaning of the word God and reject the Trinity. The sins of Joel Osteen:

1) Osteen says he respects gay marriage.

2) Osteen's wife Victoria Osteen preaching the exaltation of self, said "you aren't doing it for God, you're doing it for yourself." Anton Szandor LaVey, of the Satanic Bible, said "The real Satanist is not quite so easily recognized as such." Again at 3:15 she said "When we obey God we are not doing it for God, we are doing it for ourselves...because God takes pleasure when we are happy." False happiness! Anton LaVey teaches that the Devil is not real that the Devil is just a word to embody characteristics of evil. The truth is when you do it for yourself you are doing it not for God but Satan who is a real being and the father of lies.

3) [Act 8:4, 9-23 NLT] 4 But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went. ... 9 A man named Simon had been a sorcerer there for many years, amazing the people of Samaria and claiming to be someone great. 10 Everyone, from the least to the greatest, often spoke of him as "the Great One--the Power of God." 11 They listened closely to him because for a long time he had astounded them with his magic. 12 But now the people believed Philip's message of Good News concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ. As a result, many men and women were baptized. 13 Then Simon himself believed and was baptized. He began following Philip wherever he went, and he was amazed by the signs and great miracles Philip performed. 14 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the people of Samaria had accepted God's message, they sent Peter and John there. 15 As soon as they arrived, they prayed for these new believers to receive the Holy Spirit. 16 The Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit. 18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given when the apostles laid their hands on people, he offered them money to buy this power. 19 "Let me have this power, too," he exclaimed, "so that when I lay my hands on people, they will receive the Holy Spirit!" 20 But Peter replied, "May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God's gift can be bought! 21 You can have no part in this, for your heart is not right with God. 22 Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts, 23 for I can see that you are full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin."



When asked why Osteen doesn't talk about Satan the Devil, he characterized the Devil as just evil things, lack of discipline, not training ourselves the right way. He totally bypasses the evil spirit behind things. Satan according to Osteen is just a symbol, not a real entity. Yet recall he said Mormons are Christians even though the Devil according to Osteen is not a being (not the brother of Jesus), just broader way of seeing our own misdeeds.

"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." (1 Pet. 5.8)

[2Co 11:13-15 KJV] 13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

We shall know them by their fruit.
