Judaism Rejects the Torah

Did you know that Jews do not expect their coming Messiah to be the divine creator? They expect the gathering of the Jews from all over the world and the rebuilding of the temple. They expect the resurrection of the dead 40 years after the building of the temple. The expect the non-God Messiah to be political in nature, but not God in Person.

Why is this important? It is important because the Bible says the only way a Jewish remnant will accept the Messiah is when He steps down on the mount of olives. So even what they are expecting is wrong. I can only surmise this, that when Jesus steps down on the mount of olives, that even still, those in today's Judaism will still need to believe in Jesus individually to be saved during the millennial kingdom.

Judaism will accept the leadership of Christ for the Messianic Kingdom when He arrives, but remember, when He is reigning as the Son of Man in Person, the 2nd Person of the Godhead, though Israel accepts Him to be their political Savior, they would still need to accept Him as their personal Savior in the millennial kingdom.

Jews misinterpret 1 Sam. 15.29: "Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind." They think this verse means Jesus could not be God, rather than meaning that God's mind is unchanging. Men change their mind, not God. It is not say that there will not be the perfect sacrifice to end the animal sacrifices.

"Therefore take good heed to yourselves. Since you saw no form on the day that the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire. beware lest you act corruptly by making a graven image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, the likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air," (Deut. 4.15-17). Recall Jesus did not come in the likeness of male or female. He was male. He came in the likeness of the flesh. Jews believe these verses mean for Jesus to be in the likeness of men is a graven image and a form of corruption, yet Jesus did not come in the likeness in an image of man, but actually was man and God.

Another interesting point, Shmuley Boteach (who is definitely unsaved and going to hell if he doesn't give his life to Christ), a Jew, says that men are not complete unless they are married. Virginity and celebecy have no place in Judaism, he says. But Jewish texts say there are instances where a man can be single to separate himself for God. Shmuley has 8 children at the time of this writing. Like most men, he is simply rationalizing his sexual appetite in a world that is already overpopulated.
