1/3 of all Christendom organizations are Pentecostal
1/3 of all Christendom pastors are Pentecostal
Almost 500 million Pentecostals. Is this the Little Flock?
Pentecostals will tell you that it is dangerous to oppose the Holy Spirit in the movement of some of the largest organizations in the world under their definition of tongues. Those that grew large still remain in the Holy Spirit they say. If you believe this is God's Spirit working, God help you.
Realize what I am saying here. From the false tongues of the first half of the 20th century to the 2nd wave movement of the healing movement that started in the 50's had underneath it the heresy of false tongues gibberish babble. You see Satan is there the whole time in the healings. He planted himself 50 years before. Actually Satan planted himself in the Church long before that. Luther got ferociously angry at gibberish speakers. And of course the gibberish babble existed in the 2nd century under montanism. Can you get a sense at how treacherous are the long-standing scheming endeavors of Satan are to deceive and damage souls?
Like the holiness movement (http://biblocality.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2082&postcount=1) before the Pentecostals, they all have something in common. They are all trying to create their own spiritual experience ahead of God's leading, and ahead of the dividing of the spirit, soul and body (Heb. 4.12, 1 Thess. 5.23). The third wave movement which is today involves the Charismatic Roman Catholics. This is the trio that Satan has longed for. Now it is just a matter of time for "religious Rome" to come together as woman who sits on the beast (Rev. 17) and makes drunk the the nations with the wine of the wrath of her fornications (14.8).
The baptism of the Holy Spirit of receiving the Holy Spirit after being born again (note the Holy Spirit enters the believer at new birth already), but the receiving is an experiencing of the Spirit's existence in the man's spirit. This can happen anytime. The important point here is never to force it with gibberish babble or the expectations and peer pressure of false tongues or other antics and outbursts from our own strength. That's the key. By staying diligently in the Word and receiving laying on of hands the Spirit will baptize the believer into receiving Him experientially. Remember, this can be at any time, either before baptism of water and the Holy Spirit. We should not be legalistic about the when or the where. We don't see the difference between the water or no water in burial and resurrection with Christ just as we should not see the difference between receiving the Holy Spirit and having the Holy Spirit in us in the sense that the Spirit is already there, but we are merely experiencing more of God's life by grace. The danger is when man pushes and tries to replicate the spirit with the emotion: this is why the dividing of the spirit, soul and body is so important which prevents such errors and antics, pretentious demonic healings, alterations of the Word of God on tongues, and unholy rolling.
False tongues is not a sign from God that people have tried to push the Holy Spirit into; and what came instead was the replicatory work of the Devil. He has been waiting a long-time for this to mix himself in so people can't tell the difference anymore. This is why Jesus said there are the unsaved tares who try to look like the wheat. Even believers unwittingly allow strongholds in their mind to be taken by Satan.
Pentecostalism prides itself on spontaneity and raising their hands as though others would not in the Church. All the while there is not the repentance of false tongues. This has impacted the coming fall of USA from its massive debt load per GDP. Just like the little flock movement in China, now China is being rewarded as becoming an economic powerhouse, however corrupted their system still is. The Latter-Rain in Saskatchewan that started brought about more of what happened in 1906 when everyone was screaming and shouting at once. Today there is even groups that violently repeat mantra in unison.
Everyday there is an estimated 100,000 new Pentecostals. They pride themselves on it not being an intellectual transformation. If there is no intelligence, they never need to acknowledge the sin of gibberish babble. Third Waver's (Pentecostal, Charismatic, RCC) consider this the greatest movement in the history of the Church. There is no parallel, because in one century it has grown from about zero to 500 million out of nowhere. This dwarfs the Reformation.
