Why the Edmonton Oilers Will Not Make the Playoffs!!!

Trying to convince Dave Tippit and Ken Holland why the Oilers won't make the playoffs is like trying to get water from a stone.

As stated many times before the reason the Oilers won't make the playoffs is because of these players in particular...

Oscar Klefbom is -20 this season and has a career -67. He is the most overrated player on the Oilers.
James Neal is -17 this season whereas Milan Lucic is only -5. Bad trade.
Jujhar Khaira is -12 this season and has a career of -32.
Josh Archibald is -11 this season, has 1 point in 24 games.
Riley Sheahan is -10 this season and has a career of -47.

So funny! These two players are the worst. The only way to improve the team is get rid of the weakest link.

Klefbom -20 in 38 games, career -67
Neal -20 in 38 games. Lucic only -7

Draisaitl shows his selfishness which brings down the rest of the team with a -12 plus/minus, the 4th worst on the team. He does this so he can remain 2nd in the league for points behind McDavid. Therefore, everyone on the team is justified in improving their points at the expense of of their plus/minus. McDavid is selfish also since he should be a positive plus/minus player, setting an example for others. He is -2.

I'm not sure if Neal can improve his stance as the worst player on the Oilers at -21. At any rate, the rule always is get rid of the worst plus/minus players. Klefbom is -20, Khaira is -13. Draisaitl is -12. Archibald is -9, and Sheahan -8.

Only 3 players should be commended for not being selfish: Kassian +8, Benning +8, Kris Russell +2.

Why is there so much selfishness on the Oilers? This is not something new. It has been going on for decades. It comes from management pushing them not to care about their actions that lead to horrible +/- figures.

The management of the Edmonton Oilers is comical. Nothing has changed nor expected to change because of the collective horrible +/- rating of Neal, Klefbom. They should not be on the ice. Management thinks it is smarter than +/-. It never has and never will be. Draisaitl has gone into selfish mode to try to keep his points at the top of the league at the expense of everyone else. Nobody respects him for that. Klefbom is just incompetent. He has never been a positive +/- player. When you have players that drag the team down it is very noticeable. After being 1st in the league, Oilers are now a couple points away from being in the wild card. There is no way they make the playoffs.
