The big black box, Kaaba, in Mecca is suppose to represent God by staring into the black void of the box. And Muslims wear white in contrast. There is a prayer room at the United Nations which also has a black box that their prayer mats and chairs point to. This is not holy. God is a Trinity and Jesus who is God, the 2nd Person of the Trinity, is personal, not a cold black impersonal void.
