You seem to be hung up on symbolism. The Bible tells us that Jesus took upon Himself the punishment for sin, breaking God's law. It is God satisfying His own justice on behalf of sinners. It was the death of Christ, and the blood that was shed at the cross (we agree, not in the garden) for the forgiveness of sins, not the instrument which brought about the death. The animal sacrifices required under the Old Covenant were not nailed on a cross. Once the sins were symbolically placed on the animal, more than likely the High Priest slit the throat of the animal and the blood collected in a bowl. The blood was brought into the Holy of Holies and applied to the mercy seat of the Arch of the Covenant. It was the death of the animal and the blood that was applied, not the instrument used to kill the animal placed upon the Mercy Seat that allowed God to pass over the transgressions of the people. It was the death of a lamb and the blood placed upon the door posts that allowed the angel of death to pass over its occupants, not the door posts themselves. These things were all shadows of the things that would be fulfilled upon the death of the Savior. A sinner is not saved or damned because they have a erroneous view of Crucifixion or whether or not they wear a cross, it's because they don't have the Biblical Gospel.
The Apostle Paul wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:16-17)."
You can make up all kinds of personal symbollic applications about the Cross that you want but a sinner dies to the "old man" through the regeneration by the Holy Spirit, not the cross.

You seem to stuck on symbolism because you keep making an issue of it. This is your point of pride as you worship some evil spirit Moroni on your buildings and forsake the cross. You seem to think the cross and Jesus death are mutually exclusive. Not at all. Without the cross Jesus would never had died on the cross. Jesus would not reduce to some lesser symbol you propose such as an electric chair or a guillotine. That's Satanic. You make a mockery of the cross when you do that. Jesus doesn't want us wearing guillotines or electric chairs around our necks. How evil that would be.

When we say the cross of salvation we are referring to Jesus' death. Didn't you know that? That's what Christians believe. The altar where animals died on in the Old Testament represents the future cross in which Jesus would die for the sins of the world. The practices in the OT were a rehearsal of things to come, pointing to the ultimate once for all sacrifice. You seem also to confuse the door post and lentil as being mutually exclusive of Jesus' shedding His blood. Not at all. All is pointing to the cross of Christ, not some demonic spirit called Moroni you erect above all your satanic temples.

You keep accusing Christians falsely like you are Satan the great false accuser. No Christian believes wearing a cross around their neck is the deciding factor of salvation. But neither do Christians accuse Christians of wearing a cross as a symbol of their faith. "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions...." (Col. 2.16).

"For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and [in his] Father's, and of the holy angels" (Luke 9.26). You keep trying to diminish the cross of Christ that uplifts Jesus. You expect Christians to do a 180 degree turn and forsake the cross for another way, the way of the demonic spirit of Moroni for morons. We are fools for Christ not for Moroni, because the world and false religions like Mormonism can't understand, so the world and Mormons look upon Christians as fools, but the foolishness of the cross is where we stand. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1 Cor. 1.18). How you treat the cross is much degraded compared to how Jesus speaks of it. Why does Jesus emphasize the cross so heavily? Because it is where our old man died on the cross with Christ, those of us who are saved.

You are "ashamed" of Jesus Christ because you have some evil angel on your buildings instead of the cross of Christ. You are not suppose to worship angels the Bible says. "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, SEE THOUGH DO IT NOT: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy" (Rev. 19.10). Since Mormons worship a false Christ you are going to Hell. Jesus created all things. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1.1). Since the Mormon Jesus did not create all things and God said there are no gods before Him, after Him or beside Him, yet Mormons say there is, we can be confident Mormons are going to Hell.

You are completely wrong. A false view of the cross is because you are not saved. You say it doesn't matter. You said, "a sinner is not saved or damned because they have a erroneous view of Crucifixion." On the contrary, that is exactly why you are not saved, because of your erroneous view of the cross.

I'm not very familiar with the Mormon beliefs, but from what I've read on one of their online communities, they don't seem to be worshiping Moroni. They worship God The Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit, just like Christians do, but they seem to consider the Three Persons of The Trinity to be distinct distinct beings who act in unity... or something like that...

When you erect an idol on your building and tear down the cross, that which you erect which is Moroni is indeed whom they worship as well as 3 different beings.
