Misinformation and the sin of omission. 2 feet of small intestine were still working. Bruce Van Natta said 11 feet grew back. I believe what he meant was 11 feel became functional. The average adult has 18 to 20 feet of small intestines. He said the doctors removed all of his small intestine except for 2 feet. But he didn't say anything about the intestines being repaired and sowed back in.

"Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin." (James 4.17)
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4.1).
I believe miracles occur through the dividing of our spirit, soul and body (Heb. 4.12, 1 Thess. 5.23).
For example, one person told me they know someone who woke up and when they did their mouth was full of gold fillings. God doesn't work that way.
