If the meteorite that landed in Mexico 66 million years ago was a bit more than 10 km all life on earth would have been destroyed and not just 75%. If the meteorite was a bit smaller the dinosaurs would have survived and primates would still be running around as little rodents trying to avoid being stomped on by dinosaurs.
