Jonathan,

Something doesn't make sense about the Shemitah years. Since 2001 and 2008 are Shemitah years we know 1994, 1987, 1980 and 1973 are Shemitah years. That much we agree. If 2015 is a Shemitah year then 2016 must be a Jubilee year. 50 years prior takes us to 1966 which would be another Jubilee year.

1967 would be the first year in the next 7 years. Before 1966, the 7 years would be 1958 to 1965. The Shemitah years would be 1965, 1958, 1951, 1944, 1938, 1931, 1924. These dates don't add up to your dates for the Shemitah years. Your dates are 1967, 1959, 1952, 1945, 1938, 1931, 1924.

1916 would be a Jubilee year. 1917-1924 would be the first 7 years of the next 7 sets of 7.

A Jubilee year is not on the Shemitah year, but add one year for the 50th year. So the Jubilees were 1916 not 1917 and 1966 not 1967 and 2016 not 2015 or 2017. What do you think of the "sign of the Son of Man" (Matt. 24.30) being asteroid Apophis April 13, 2029 when it comes within satellite distance of earth, within 25,000 miles and the last time an asteroid of this size (3 football fields in length) hit earth was 80,000 years ago, so very rare? I was also thinking there are 7 years of plenty so 7 years of plenty from 2017 to 2023 then 7 years of famine from 2024 to 2031.

There are 2,520 days from Feast of Trumpets Sept. 21, 2017 to Tisha B'Av Aug. 13, 2024. And there are 2490 days from Feast of Trumpets Oct. 3, 2024 to Feast of Trumpets July 29, 2031. 30 days more takes us to the 2,520th day (7 x 360). 30 days more takes us to the 1290th Day of Atonement Sept. 27, 2031 (Dan. 12.11). From Tisha B'Av to Simchat Torah is 75 days or the 1335th day (Dan. 12.12).

Hopefully you can resolve this. Thanks.
