Having the Mind of Christ
“Who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ” (1 Cor. 2.16). We know the will of
God is objective, but the mind of Christ is subjective; the will
of God is upon the throne, but the mind of Christ is within us. God’s
will is outside of us, but Christ’s mind is inside us, constantly giving
us the understanding of God’s will. As soon as a person is born
again, the life of God is most assuredly planted in him, and he also
has the mind of Christ. Whenever we receive life, at the same
moment we receive the mind of Christ. Hence we have within us a
new thought, a new mind, and a new will.
