It usually lasts about 10 generations or 200-250 years.

The characteristics of decadence:
1. An undisciplined overextended military.
2. Conspicuous display of wealth.
3. Massive disparity between rich and poor.
4. A desire to live off a bloated state.
5. Obsession with sex.
6. Debasement of the currency.
