Hypothetically, you knew all things had a cause and effect except one last thing yet still held out for the idea that one last thing could prove something comes from nothing despite the overwhelming preponderance of evidence of cause and effects which would be accepted in any court of law.
So you harbor a contradiction, because you are claiming you have to be all-knowing as if you are God. But are you all-knowing? are you God? Your position is untenable and proves your starting position is false. Since you are unwilling to deal with it, Case closed.
But for those who do want to deal with this matter, feel free to respond.

Your argument is logically void due to special pleading.
Special pleading is a form of spurious argumentation where a position in a dispute introduces favorable details or excludes unfavorable details by alleging a need to apply additional considerations without proper criticism of these considerations themselves. Essentially, this involves someone attempting to cite something as an exemption to a generally accepted rule, principle, etc. without justifying the exemption.

You couldn't show any special pleading so you must be special pleading.

You couldn't show any special pleading so you must be special pleading.
You are excluding an unfavorable detail. You claim that everything needs a cause. You claim God does not have a cause. So using your own logic, God could not exist.

You are special pleading, clearly with mistaken assumptions.
Your illogical assumption: that which does not exist can cause the universe.
There are trillions of causes in nature, which is an overwhelming preponderance of evidence and obviously, that which does not exist can't make anything happen. It doesn't exist.
Another special pleading: God needs a cause.
Since the cause for the universe must be uncaused, because the universe can't always have existed, then the cause must be uncaused. It is illogical to ask what caused the uncaused. It's uncaused! That's like asking what made this circle square?

That guy is special pleading. We know the universe or some natural energy could not always have existed because heat death would be far greater than it is and mankind would have approximated into that alleged past eternity, thus would not still be sinning to the extent it still does along the exponential progression of conscience we are clearly on.
Jesus said the number one proof of His deity is His resurrection. So it stands to reason why after two millennial mankind still can't find a naturalistic explanation for the resurrection data.

Don't you see? You are trying to use the laws of physics, to prove something that defies the laws of physics! That is illogical.

Don't you see! God was right. "For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, 'even' his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse" (Rom 1.20). This proves His existence. It doesn't say much about Him yet at this point.
The universe can't come from nothing, nor can it always have been existing due to the exponential progression of conscience and heat death would be far greater than it is. Therefore, we must accept the only evidential possibility, the uncreated created. We still don't know where He has revealed Himself yet. We need to do more work to figure that out.
No matter where your feelings are pulling you, if you have a heart for the truth, you will disregard your feelings and give into this evidence. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart" (Jer. 29.13). "If all known possibilities are impossible, what we had deemed impossible must be true" (Spock on Star Trek). Now that you know God created the universe, for only He meets the requirement of being uncreated, ask yourself where has He revealed Himself in nature? Ask would a personal and accessible God be better than an impersonal and inaccessible absentee Landlord? Why create for no reason at all? If we have purpose, and God's standards are certainly higher than ours, would He not have purpose?
These are simple matters, a child could understand. So the problem is the person-you! Your flesh! Your self-centeredness. Your disobedience and independency to your Creator! Could anything be more asinine. You commit the greatest sin ever known to mankind, the sin of denying your Creator. How truly sad for you that this is the way you want to be. But God has a righteous response to your condition which is Hell to be eternally separated from Him as you wish, for you send yourself to Hell. You really do.
Do you know you are afraid to give up the control you have over yourself instead of placing your dependency and trust in God who created you?
