Since there are no verses in the Bible where a person has to believe in God the Father before they can believe in God the Son, those who accuse otherwise, we can be confident are not Christians. What's this heresy called, by the way, where a person has to believe in the Father before they can believe in the Son? It would mean that Jesus died in vain and His life on earth was pointless.

Similarly, those who call themselves Calvinists, teaching and confusing propensity to sin for total depravity, we have no reason to believe they are born-again either, because there is no total depravity in the Bible, thus God does not save people from out of a total depravity. God dies for all, pleads with all, so any who are willing may repent to the cross as helpless sinners. It would be evil if God allegedly saved people against their will and did not give others the opportunity to be saved.

The reason why Calvinists are not born-again is because they don't want to fulfill God's condition for authentic regeneration which is to repent in order to obtain through grace the gift of faith. Instead they prefer to just assume they are regenerated without repenting first so they can remain in their sin nature. That is a false salvation, and Satan gets off on this as do those who follow him either explicitly or implicitly.
