Apostles are missionaries, but missionaries ought not to set up shop, but stay for short while once the elders are in place for each locality, or on the return trip. Is this not how it was done in Acts and Paul's travels?
Missionaries might not even consider themselves apostles, but workers leading people to Christ. This is a problem, because where are the apostles? It is the work of apostles to build the church in cities and rural and remote areas, and be known as the apostles.
Nobody wants to be an apostle, because the sacrifice is just too great, so various mechanism have been put in place to avoid responsibility such as denominations, employment in denominations, salaried workers in denominations, and following popular gurus, whom by their own admittance are not apostles.
Until apostles are firmly established and not afraid to call themselves the highest workers for the church: the apostles, the church will suffer lack, and be assured Christ will not return until this problem is solved.
I am serious about this. My prayer is others are sensitive to this fact also who want to do something about it. That is what Biblocality forums are here for with the questions at registration to show solidarity for this need in the Work for the Church.
