Today's forum nonsense:
Two universalists.
Two racists.
Two false tongues babblers.
One Mary idolater judaizing Christianity with intermediary priesthood, popery and hierarchies in the church like corporations.
One atheist or agnostic with lame misreadings of the Scriptures in search of the holy grail of contradictions.
___
8 souls - try taking away from the work of the Ministry.
It takes all kinds. There is every array of answers to those 17 questions: to be exact 3 options to the power of 17 equals 129,140,163 possibilities. For example the atheist in this group said "not sure" to all 17 questions and said he was a Christian. How can you be not sure about the substitution of Jesus Christ and call themselves a Christian? I haven't even brought in the other 16 questions for apostles.
What an utter waste of time! They don't repent of these sins. People have made up their minds already. This is why John 3.18 says they are condemned already.
Note to self: disallow these conversations and time wasters.

oh, hey. i like how none of the threads in here have replies. i also like how they're devoid of anything except troy's bible thumping.
Quick question: what does the following mean?
"When you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house. But before she may live there, she must shave her head and pare her nails and lay aside her captive's garb. After she has mourned her father and mother for a full month, you may have relations with her, and you shall be her husband and she shall be your wife. However, if later on you lose your liking for her, you shall give her her freedom, if she wishes it; but you shall not sell her or enslave her, since she was married to you under compulsion."
Deuteronomy 21:10-14 NAB
edit: Troy said i should "try again" but then he ip banned me (me being black mage), i don't see how that makes sense.

When you accuse of Bible thumping this is belligerent and hostile. Such reviling is cause for banning, especially considering the 3rd point under Board Etiquette. Your Bible bashing is a sin. Already, the point of graciousness is exceeded if I let you post another post, and in responding by casting what is holy onto dogs, which the Bible says not to do, so any more posts will be automatically removed without further explanation.
There are other posters here, so it is not devoid. There are replies here too, just not as much as you would want the Holy Spirit to allow. However, do notice something. Very few, even in the appearance of the outward boundary of the kingdom heaven come to make Biblical locality work. This shows us the church is in ruin, and in order for Christ to return, He first will need this ruined state to change to return to the first century love that was lost of apostles appointing elders for Biblical localities.
In Deuteronomy, how do we do any differently today, really? When a nation takes over another nation, and it was God's will because the other nation was evil, for example when the allies overcame and reclaimed back all the nations that Germany conquered, do you leave all the women single or would you not take wives? Surely the women would not remain single.
The word "compulsion" is not in the Word in this verse. The RSV, ASV, KJV, NLT do not have the word compulsion, but "humbled" which is to say, she has lost here husband in war, and has been humiliated in the nation that she was in that had been defeated. This is very respectful to others.
Also, Israel had a law that a man could divorce his wife. This was the law of God accurately reflecting the condition of the man, so God instituted this as the best solution. The reason this is different then that it is now is because of the flesh, even in Israelites was strong so there had to be even a law that would be amicable if you will. If the Spirit of the law was as it is today, this would be too burdensome for the flesh, and would actually create more problems than it solved. But under the Spirit indwelling today for beliefers, there is no such release allowed. With the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, this is an easy yoke to bear.
After she has mourned for a month for her loss, marriage may take place. This is very respectful.
So in summary, do you see your mistake? You had to try to make your case by altering the Word of God with the word "compulsion". This is your sin. This is your belligerence. If you can't even quote the Scriptures, then how are you going to ask a question properly?
Since I can't stop you from joining apparently, why does it not make sense to rejoin if you repent? This is doubletongued.
Neither do you repent of being belligerent or cunning in your accusations like that great false accuser, nor do you abide in the forum rules not to join if you can't stop being belligerent. I did not say to "try again" arbitrarily.

I don't mean to interrupt, and think it's a great thing these miscreants were banned, but there were in fact 280+ people, some as guests, some logged into accounts from multiple locations.

That's correct. What was needed to be done is done. What more is needed remains to be seen. Usually if a person is banned they get an explanation of why on the forum, but if not, there is a message why they were banned when they try to login. You have to understand there were over 3000 IP's that hit the forum yesterday alone. Atheist/agnostics are looking for anything to cling onto in their mass spamming. There were 185 online at one time yesterday. I am not sure where they are all coming from, but it in large measure has to do with the 4 Step Perfect Proof for God (http://biblocality.com/forums/showthread.php?t=544). There are lots and lots of racists, porno addicts and masochists showing off their handiwork or those they aspire to, not just plain old belligerency from outside the kingdom and unsaved within the kingdom trying to look like the wheat.
In this way I can retrace the reasonable reason for the banning.

They truly have no shame! I haven't even had the opportunity to contribute to the biblocality yet, and still I am bombarded from amongst their ranks with heretical and depraved content like this, simply for having the faith to become a disciple to this grand cause:
[removed advertising]
Can something be done? I do not even feel comfortable with checking my email in case more sullying filth along a similar vein awaits me.

Yes, of course. You can:
1) disallow receiving emails and pm's or both. I have done my part by only allowing one post, email or private message to be sent once every hour. So make it a good one! Other forums disable pm's and emails altogether all together. I think the way I have done it is much better giving the person the option.
2) also, you can block any user you like under your USER CP.
It works really good this way.
There are bad people all over the world, especially on the internet. Such attacks against Christians is expected because they are jealous of us. Christians were martyred throughout the centuries. Surely we can handle their spamming hatred.
