I thought these two faiths, gnosticism and scientology, were similar because gnosticism says we were created by an evil god and scientology says we were created by evil aliens or transferred to earth by evil aliens.

Is that a fair comparison?

Gnosticism teaches that we were created by evil beings. Tom Cruise's scientologists say the same thing, but calls them aliens. In other words, there exists the same mentality of a hardened heart in which only what you of your own self can make out of this situation by doing what you got to do will move you forward. That is why he comes across crass, arrogant and self-exalted as you would expect of someone who does not care to be forgiven by His creator in Jesus and be Christlike.

Cruise's latest secret video for scientology requires you be on board or not on board but stop sitting on the fence if you are a scientologist, not unlike how Jesus said you are either for or against him, but there is no room for agnosticism. The only difference is Jesus proved He is God by His resurrection through multiple eyewitness testimony whereas Cruise still has not proven we were created by evil aliens. As Jesus is the greatest helper in history, the Savior and Redeemer, scientologists want to claim they are the great helpers of the world, but are they really helping for all they do is in the name of a lie they can't back up, that we were created by evil aliens. If you are created by an evil alien, then ultimately, like with the amoral god of Hinduism, you would be an extension of that amorality or evil alien. Therefore, you will conduct yourself accordingly and can not diverge totally from that which you come from.

The reason there is sin in the world and men are sinful is because we were born into sin, not because we were created sinful, but because the first God-conscious man chose to sin. Logically, as you would expect, sin begets sin, and infects generation after generation. That is why the only solution to this problem is Jesus entering into His creation to atone for the sins of the world so that any who accept Him may be saved and receive eternal life instead of eternal damnation in hell, consciously aware for eternity of their wrong choice.
