Follow this logic. Watchman Nee writes Rev."6.12-14 We dare not say this section has all been fulfilled" and then in the same paragraph, ""what is depicted in 6.14 has never been witnessed in history with such intensity, and therefore waits to be fulfilled". This would suggest he believes vv.12-13 are fulfilled, but the part that is unfulfilled is v.14. When we entered into space that had the capacity to do as follows: "And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places" (v.14), which occured when Nee was in jail, which would explain why he had not witnessed this yet.

v.12 would point to Hale Bob, 10,000 times larger than Hailey's comet or even the largest solar flare on record that recently occured, if it was not already fulfilled prior in Nee's day during population explosion on earth. Nee is not saying the part that is unfulfilled would be part of v.12, but rather v.14, since redest of solar eclipses in the moon has already occured, along with the blackest of suns. When there is a great number of people in distress, that which has always been happening becomes more pronounced. Hence, the moon seems darker to more at each eclipse, and the same is true of the total eclipse of the moon. This makes reasonable sense as it affects more people if the population is larger, and the population did expand dramatically in the 20th century.

The landing on the moon or entering space pertains to v.14, not v.12. It is not the landing on the moon that is the significant factor, but rather, the entering into space which causes the different view and perspective in v.14 of the earth, and how we mistreat the earth.

I don't believe what some are expecting will ever happen: "a cosmical object from the outer space" to create an effect on the sun and the moon. I would not wait for such a thing because it won't happen. Instead the Bible is talking about the eclipses of the moon and the sun only which are more outstanding to us because there are more people to witness such regular events, and especially in times of great distress like the depression of the 1930's, and the two world wars, when so many people were so poor and suffering. Naturally, they gaze up at the moon and the stars more than before to notice falling stars (v.13) and a red moon and a black sun eclipsing. This is the answer. No one can ever take this answer away from me, for it is true.

We can be fairly certain this same principle holds true with earthquakes which have already occured and have affected a greater number of people than ever before due to population increasing exponentially in the last century, so they are more outsanding to us than would be otherwise. This is the consequence of living in sin, that is, in dangerous hot zones. When we left the garden of Eden we ventured into dangerous living areas against God's will. Even now, as a result of the Tsunami's, reports are saying that people and businesses are seriously considering relocating, because these disasters will happen in the same place again.

The ordering of the events are intact.
6.12 - it has occured in full because of greater populations living in dangerous areas
6.13 - events like the depression and WWI and WWII make us gaze at the stars more, and we notice things we did not before such as falling stars.
6.14 - this pricked our conscience to see how precious our planet is from space.
6.15-16 has happened in a lesser degree of intensity than it will happen for its total fulfillment before 6.17.
6.17 - then the "great day of his wrath is come".

I am confident in all this.
