The verdict which the high priest of that day pronounced upon the Lord Jesus was most unjust (see Matt. 26.63ff).
He ask the Lord if He were the Christ, and the Lord answered yes. The high priest ought then to have examined the claim to find out if indeed it were true or false before he passed down his judgment. Instead, as soon as he heard the Lord's answer he tore his garments, and immediately he and the rest of the Sanhedrin sentenced the Lord to death for committing the presumed sin of blasphemy.
In like manner, calvinists today do the same thing to Christ without examining the facts, already pronouncing upon themselves and of their christ, that they were predesigned to be saved while others were premade for hell. What an evil teaching.
