I find the most popular view to be historicist. The RCC is historicist. The Eastern Orthodox is historicist and many protestant and oriental and coptic denominations are historicists. Chiliasm, futurist, was the first view in the first century, but the flesh wars against the Spirit so that historicists take over. The historicist and preterist and romanist views say the 1000 years is now, whereas the futurist view says it has not happened yet. You can't believe both simultaneously. That would be a contradiction. In the millennium which is to come, Satan shall "deceive the nations no more" (Rev. 20.3) so that the nations will no longer war as they do now. This should be solid proof the historicist, romanist and preterist views are all wrong. Should you leave those organizations mentioned above? This is a decision you will have to make for yourself, but the Holy Spirit has made it clear to me to stand apart.
