Have you noticed these two guys donate to charities, but never do they give to the Church. They give a ridiculously small percentage of their income and wealth. This is a good proof of salvation by works. They do these limited works but look where their work is directed against what God values most, the Church.
If they were saved, not going to Hell, they would search out and discern who the Apostles are and support them. I don't mean give money to denominations or non-denominations, but to the Apostles, to Prophets, to Evangelists, and Teachers/Shepherds.

That is what charities are for, but the point of the thread is that they don't give to the church so they are going to hell. God said we shall know them by their fruit. How true are the words: it is harder for a rich man to get into heaven than a camel to go through the eye of a needle.

I do hope that the topic creator realizes that the church isn't EVERYTHING. Besides, churches are supposed to donate to the needy, so if anything, the church would just function as an unnecessary middleman. Gates and Buffet are just being nice and donating to the needy, and generally making people's lives better. And you're actually ANGRY at them because your church didn't get a cut? That attitude seems to display greed and envy, which incidentally, are both sins.

The Church is everything, for the Church is the body of Christ. There is nothing better. The Bible says Christ is the husband, the Church is the bride. The pearl of great price in Matthew 13 is the Church. There is nothing more beautiful in all of God's creation.
The Church's function is not just to give to the needy but to build the body of Christ, the Church. This is God's will. Don't you know when the body of Christ has reached its pinnacle Christ will return? Do you know how this is attained? Through Biblocality. To give to the needy also is better facilitated through the Church, for there is where there is authority on the planet to do God's will to correctly give to. An regenerated person will usually make a better decision in these matters.
Just because someone receives assistance, does not mean salvation is not then needed. A person still needs to be forgiven by God. The Church will assist financially but also spiritually. Do you see the difference? Gates and Buffet are making a clear statement of their own unregeneration against the Church. How much more difficult their task would be if they sought out legitimate Christian enterprises in the Lord's will.
I am not angry, for Christians never take offense to men's sins; we know they are of the world and Christ will return to destroy the god of this world. It is not just to the cause of specific vitality of Biblocality that they do not donate, they don't donate to any member of the body of Christ as the Church. This is not greed or envy that I point this out, just reality that they don't give to the Church, because they are themselves not born-again. Their behavior is in perfect keeping with their nature. How truly sad.
Why be like the false accuser? "For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night" without rime or reason (Rev. 12.10).
Knowing the Scriptures say it is harder for a rich man to get into heaven than a camel to go through the eye of a needle, it is for the sake of their own salvation this be brought up about their acting in their own strength without God's power. So we know them by their fruit the Bible says and the Holy Spirit confirms, but God can save them too (to forgive them and give them eternal life) if they come to the cross as a helpless sinners to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Hallelejuh!
By the way, why do you engage in your frivolous posting, making false accusations sinning bearing false witness and not address your own unBibical false teaching of Marcionism here?
