Default Have you been deceived by Satan through your church?

Please tell me why NT passages such as these do NOT apply to you?

“… wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to (eternal)
destruction … narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which
leads to (eternal) life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)
The truth of the narrow way has not at all been taught in its full reality.
There are many NT verses which prove how narrow the way really is!

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom
of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven …
I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you (approved of you); depart
from Me, you who practice lawlessness (sin)!’ ” (Matthew 7:21-23)
There’s much more to doing God’s will than merely believing in Jesus!
Yes, sin keeps you out of the kingdom … see the NT “sin lists”
    (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:3-6).

“You will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures
to the end (until his death) will be saved (eternally).” (Matthew 10:22)
There are about 15 NT verses which teach us … the believer must
endure in the faith until death to receive eternal life (and some are below).

“But if you want to enter into (eternal) life, keep the commandments.”
    (Matthew 19:17)
“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.”
    (John 14:21, also John 14:23 & John 15:14)
Does anyone get into heaven who does NOT love Jesus and obey Him?

“If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter
into life maimed rather than having two hands and go to hell” (Mark 9:43)
Surely, Jesus is emphasizing the incredible seriousness of sin!

“For whoever desires to save his (worldly) life will lose it (eternal life)
but whoever loses his (worldly) life for My sake will save it (eternal life).
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is
himself destroyed or lost (eternal death)?” (Luke 9:24-25 and John 12:25)

“And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh” (Galatians 5:24)
“For if you live according to the flesh you will die (eternally)” (Romans 8:13)
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows,
that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh
reap corruption (eternal death)” (Galatians 6:7-8)

“… the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received
... by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which
I preached to you – unless you believed in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)

    “Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin;
and sin, when it is full grown, brings forth (eternal) death.
Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.” (James 1:15-16)

“But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare,
and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in
destruction and perdition (eternal death) … Command those who
are rich … that they may lay hold on to eternal life.” (1 Timothy 6:9-19)

“ ‘My righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure
in anyone who turns away.’ But we are not like those who turn
away from God to their own destruction (eternal death). We are
the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:38-39)
Paul says some believers turn back to their destruction, but in fact,
he has NO idea who will remain faithful to the end, or who will turn away!

“In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest:
whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God” (1 John 3:10)
“He who practices righteousness is righteous” (1 John 3:7)

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God
and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable,
murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars
shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone,
which is the second death (eternal death).” (Revelation 21:7-8)
The “cowardly” include believers who fall from the faith when persecuted
for their Christian faith, or later submit to taking the mark of the beast.

“But there shall by no means enter it (the New Jerusalem) anything
that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those
who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” (Revelation 21:27)

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and
I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life” (Revelation 3:5)

Jesus gives His definition of who the victorious “overcomer” is …
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne,
as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” (Revelation 3:21)
Just what did Jesus overcome? Primarily: the world, sin, and the devil.
We today are the deceived church of Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22).

“If you refuse to forgive others, your Father won’t forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:15)
Unforgiveness blocks you from heaven, and it also blocks you from being healed!

“Fear the Lord and keep His commandments … so that you may be saved.
… So have faith in Him and fear Him and by that fear exercise self-control.
Keep these commandments. If you do, you will put on the strength of
righteousness, and cast all wickedness from you, and live to God.”
(“The Shepherd of Hermas” -- most popular Christian “book” during 100-400 a.d.
Quoted as Scripture by such as: Irenaeas, Clement, Origen, Codex Sinaiticus.
The Shepherd (an angel?) calls himself: “the Shepherd and messenger of repentance”.)

“Fear God, who has the power … to throw you into hell” (Luke 12:5)
“… unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3 and 13:5)

“… beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh
and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God … your sorrow
(over my first letter to you) led to repentance … For godly sorrow
produces repentance leading to salvation.” (2 Corinthians 7:1-10)
Yes, our current sins will be forgiven through deep and sincere repentance!

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
“When the Lord saw that their repentance was good and pure, and that they
were able to remain in it, He ordered their former sins to be blotted out.”
(“The Shepherd of Hermas” – he’s not nearly as tactful as the earlier Epistles)

Has Satan deceived you? … Has he deceived your church?

Satan hates God, and he hates you! … He and his demons work
tirelessly to succeed in having you spend eternity in hell with them.
“the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4)
“the ruler of this world” (John 12:31, 14:30, 16:11)
“the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world” (Revelation 12:9)
“he is a liar and the father of it (lies)” (John 8:44)
“evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world” (Ephesians 6:12)

Have you been deceived into believing in “once saved, always saved”,
and that your sins (past, present, and future) have all been forgiven?
(Also, have you been deceived into believing in a pre-tribulation rapture?)
Heads-up! The dozens of warnings in the NT are there for a purpose!
For example: “… you are that one’s slaves whom you obey,
whether (slaves) of sin leading to (eternal) death, OR
(slaves) of obedience leading to righteousness … now present
your bodies as slaves of righteousness for holiness.” (Romans 6:16,19)

Born-agains have been given a new nature and the indwelling Holy Spirit
to free them from their bondage to Satan – and from their slavery to sin!

Matt. 7.13-14 doesn't point to salvation (new birth), but to the Christian experience. I can show you many proofs this is so as well as to several of the other verses you gave which don't point to the new birth specifically but reward to the overcoming Christian.

The narrow gate points to outward conduct. The narrow path points to the inner deeply walking by the Holy Spirit.

These NT passages do apply to me so why would you ask why they don't apply?

In your profile you said you reject Once-Saved-Always-Saved even though John 10.28 says those who are born-again "they shall never perish."

Why do you reject John 10.28?

Would you care to PROVE your belief of the narrow gate and way?

    In John 10:27-28 ...
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
    28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;

... Jesus is talking about those who actually:
    hear His voice
are known (personally and approved of) by Him
    follow Him

BTW, if you follow Him, you obey His commandments.
Those who love Him obey His commandments.
Does anyone go to heaven who does not love Him?

    Two Gates and Two Ways

[Mat 7:13-14 KJV] 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

vv.13-14 What is the difference between the “gate” here and the “door” in John 10.9? In the latter passage it is the door of grace, whereas here in Matthew 7.13 it is the gate of the principles of the kingdom of heaven.

“Enter in” speaks of a choice. “By the narrow gate” indicates a transaction. “The way” represents the daily life. “Narrow” refers to the strictness of the Lord’s commandments. “Narrow” is a comparative term. If the above-mentioned new law is the narrow gate, there must be a more lenient law. And thus we see that the demand of the teaching on the mount surpasses even that of the Mosaic law of old.

Here we are confronted with two gates and two ways. One is described according to its inward condition, while the other is expressed by its outward appearance. A Christian may select whichever gate to enter and whatever way to travel. His current choice is none other than to choose the life principle of today. No one can walk along the strait way without first entering by the narrow gate. Whoever does not enter in via the gate of Matthew 5-7 is definitely not walking in this way.

Why is it so important to “enter in by the narrow gate”? The word “destruction” may mean either perdition or ruin. In the case at hand, it is better to translate the word as “ruin” or “waste”; in other words, what is meant here is that everything will be demolished or ruined if the wide gate and the broad way are chosen. And even should the word “destruction” be translated as “perdition” it can only refer to temporary, not eternal, perdition.

Those who seek only to be presentable morally to the eyes of men will no doubt prefer the wide gate and the broad way.

v.14 “Straitened the way”—Because it is the way of the will of God. It is so straitened that only the will of God can get through. There is absolutely no place by which to squeeze into it the flesh, the world, or today’s glory.

“Few are they that find it”—Truth often is found among the minority. The narrow gate and the strait way need to be found, indicating that many do not even know about it.

The word “way” in Acts 9.2 (“any that were of the Way”), in Acts 19.9 (“speaking evil of the Way”), and in Acts 19.23 (“there arose no small stir concerning the Way”) is the same word used here in Matthew 7.14. The book of Acts thus enjoins us to believe and walk in this way.

Doug the Holy Spirit told me you are not born-again because you believe in works and self-strength to be saved and could lose salvation. God can never receive you with that pompous attitude. When God gives eternal life (John 17.3) it is forever and can never be lost.

It helps to see there are two kinds of Christians. Carnal Christians and spiritual Christians. The latter receive the reward of returning with Christ to reign over the nations for 1000 years. The former lose not eternal life but loses this reward.

Many accept works based salvation because they don't believe in the millennial return and reign of Christ on earth with His overcomers.

Also Pentecostals which you admit you are in your profile are going to Hell since gibberish babble is not allowed in the New City and New Earth. Gibberish babble is a sin. The still small voice of the spirit is silent without any gibberish babble.

In Hell there is a place for gibberish babbles.

Congratulations, you have proven that you are NOT hearing God's voice,
nor are you being taught by Him or led by Him, etc.
He would NEVER say the red because it is way beyond ludicrous!
Thou art hereby forever banished from any serious consideration, i.e. thou are on ignore.

You're not a Christian and will never repent of your works based salvation claiming someone can be saved but then lose salvation, and your gibberish babble. Never do we find in the Bible tongues means gibberish babble. Rather it is the gift of language to spread the gospel to the nations.

To prove my point you will never repent just observe yourself here and now and notice you refuse to ever give up these sins of a false Christ.

Here are some additional comments on 6 of the NT passages in the OP …

“If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter
into life maimed rather than having two hands and go to hell” (Mark 9:43)
Does Jesus go overboard in trying to express the incredible seriousness of sin?

“You will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures
to the end (until his death) will be saved (eternally).” (Matthew 10:22)
There are about 15 NT verses which teach this spiritual Truth above.
And, enduring in the faith until death includes …
    • Not falling away during the times of severe persecution of Christians
    • Not submitting to the incredible pressure of taking the dreaded mark of the beast
Both of these severe TESTS will be coming upon professing Christians soon!
Re: taking the mark, be sure you read the eternal consequences in Rev.13-14.

    “Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin;
and sin, when it is full grown, brings forth (eternal) death.
Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.” (James 1:15-16)
Sin brings forth eternal death upon believers also, unless it is repented of!
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
Repentance includes all of the following: the sorrow over committing the sin,
the confessing it to God, the asking forgiveness for it, the stopping of doing it.

“In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest:
whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God” (1 John 3:10)
“He who practices righteousness is righteous” (1 John 3:7)
Many believers have been deceived by the gospel of hyper-grace, the “Me gospel”.
They have been deceived into believing that they have been made
FOREVER righteous because of what Jesus did for them on the Cross.
They have NOT been made FOREVER anything by God’s free gift of grace.
They have NOT been made FOREVER justified, righteous, sanctified, saved, etc.
NO GUARANTEES is what the NT teaches! … because …
We see that all of God’s blessings are CONDITIONAL – all throughout the whole Bible!
Warning: gifts can be taken back, seals can be broken, etc.
Because believers are required to do their part in their salvation.
They are required to co-operate with the precious Holy Spirit.
And the opposite of this is the most-deadly practicing of habitual (unrepentant) sin!

“And do NOT present your member as instruments of unrighteousness to sin,
but present yourselves to God … as instruments of righteousness to God.
… Do you not know that … you are that one’s slaves whom you obey,
whether (slaves) of sin leading to (eternal) death, OR
(slaves) of obedience leading to righteousness? … so now
present your bodies as slaves of righteousness for holiness.
… For the end of those things (past sins) is (eternal) death.
... For the wages of sin is (eternal) death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:13—23)
Paul is writing to born-again believers in Rome (who are strangers to him).
He warns them: sinning, being slaves of sin, being unrighteous – leads to eternal death!
Attention: believers just do NOT understand Paul’s method of writing to the churches.
It is all about being tactful, so he will be welcome to visit them (and teach them more).
Paul mixes his warnings in amongst his MANY edifications, exhortations, blessings, etc.
And he leaves it up to the precious Holy Spirit to reveal the deep meaning of Scripture.
Warning: deceived believers are mistakenly taught to focus on the last line above,
and they just do not realize that all of God’s blessings are CONDITIONAL,
which is seen all throughout the whole entire Bible!

Believers are taught that passages such as the Romans 6 simply do NOT apply to them!
The churches do NOT want to get the troops upset …
because the troops come trooping in every Sunday with their tithes!
To be fair, some church leadership are not this way … they have just been
deceived by the greatest lair and deceiver in history, whose name is Satan!

You avoided John 10.28. But I would be happy to show you how you misread Scripture. The very first thing you brought up was Mark 9.43. This verse is simply saying eternal life is always better under all conditions than going to Hell. It is not saying you can lose salvation once saved.
