I don't know anyone who willingly died for what they know is lie. The Apostles never changed their testimony they saw Jesus alive from the dead in various group settings. So the Apostles did not lie. Therefore, that they lied is not a plausible naturalistic explanation. You only know of people who died for what they believed in. I can give you a hypothetical case though. Let's say your spouse is accused of killing someone which he/she knows would get the death penalty if proven. The evidence doesn't stand up in court and it looks like the verdict will be innocent, but at the last minute you spouse bizarrely claims he/she committed the brutal murder so he/she is sentenced to death. You know your spouse very well that he/she did not do it, the alibi is flawless, so it makes no sense. This violates the law that people don't willingly die for what they know is a lie. You can draw up all kinds of examples. The reason you can't find any in society is because people don't willingly die for what they know is a lie. Therefore, the Apostles told the truth they truly believed they saw Jesus alive from the dead in various group settings. Praise the Lord!
