"The resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven" (Matt.22.30). There are all kinds of ways to reject God of the Bible and follow Satan. Mormons follow Satan by denying what He said in Matt. 22.30.

There is no baptism for the dead in the Bible. Again, this is another way to reject God's design. "Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?" (1 Cor. 15.29) Pagans were practicing baptism for the dead. Paul used that to prove the resurrection. He was not condoning baptism of the dead, but showing their practice implies resurrection. Just north of Corinth was a city named Eleusis. This was the location of a pagan religion where baptism in the sea was practiced to guarantee a good afterlife. This religion was mentioned by Homer in Hymn to Demeter 478-79 (Bible Knowledge Commentary on 1 Cor. 15.29).

There is no opportunity to have a change of mind in the after life. Being baptized dead does not change that. A person has had more than enough time in his life to choose the Lord
