Pretribber onlyists claim Matt. 24 & 25 are only talking to the Jews and not to Christians. Just simply show them Matt. 24.42: "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."

The Jews reject the Lord. So this is referring to Christians to watch not in order to be saved but to overcome. Since both the "taken" and the "left", therefore, are Christians, verse 42 is saying be watchful in order to be taken and not left.

If "taken" means bad, how can it be that a Christian is watchful in order not to be taken? Even some of the most spiritual Christians will be martyred or taken in that case. Thus, "taken" must be good and "left" must be bad. To be taken would be before the Tribulation to stand before the Son of Man in heaven.

Let the pretribber onlyist realize that he will not be raptured before the Tribulation on the basis of solely being a Christian, but only if he is watchful, prayerful (Luke 21.36) and keeps the word of His patience (Rev. 3.10) to be taken "before the throne" (7.9) in 3rd heaven, before the 1st trumpet (8.7) is blown, there being 7 trumpets through the 7 year Tribulation.
