1 Cor. 11.7 (NLT) reads, Every man who prays or prophesies with long hair dishonors his head. But every woman who prays or prophesies with no covering of hair dishonors her head—she is just like one of the “shorn women.” If a woman has no covering, let her be for now with short hair; but since it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair shorn or shaved, she should grow it again. A man ought not to have long hair.

For both men and women covering oneself in humility is the point. Don't legalize this passage into an Islamic misinterpretation.

A woman can adorn herself with some gold and pearls just not to excess. Since this passage is talking about long hair, it is simply saying men should have short hair and women should have a longer hair that is all.

It's very dangerous when you don't read the Bible by the Holy Spirit for you could generate all kinds of strange interpretations like Shia and Sunni.
