Angels don't get resurrected. That is the domain of those with physical bodies, that is, the Adamic race. And there is no mention of resurrection of this angel in Ex. 23. Firstfruits is a foreshadowing of things to come. Jesus died on the cross Nisan 14, Friday, Passover, April 1, 33 AD (Gregorian) and resurrected Himself April 3, 33 AD as only God can do. When Jesus is spoken of as an angel, of course, He is the exception to the rule, because angel here means messenger, not one of the angels, 4 creatures or even one of the 24 archangels in Rev. 4. Jesus is above all this as He is the creator of the universe. He is not a created angel. He is the uncreated Creatior, always existing, can take the form of an angel and is the 2nd Person of the Trinity.
