The Book of Mormon claims, "...many plain and precious things [were] taken away from the [Bible]" (1 Neh. 13.28).

But the Bible says "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever" (Is. 40.8). THE BIBLE, 66 BOOKS, FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION.

And "It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law" (Luke 16.17). THE LAW OF MOSES FROM GENESIS TO DEUTERONOMY.

And "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away" (Matt. 24.35, Mark 13.31, Luke 21.33). THE GOSPELS FROM MATTHEW TO JOHN.

No plain and precious things were taken out of the Bible. The Book of Mormon is a lie and the Bible is the truth.

God wouldn't say the Bible stands forever if He didn't mean it. God does not lie (Tit. 1.2). Praise Jesus!

"Take up the Bible...compare the religion of the Latter-day Saints with it...and see if it will stand the test" (Brigham Young, May 18, 1873, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 16, page 46).

Doctrine and Covenants claim "[God] [t]he Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's" (D&C 130:22).

"God is spirit" (John 4.24); you "[are] men, and not God...flesh, and not spirit" (Is. 31.3), and "a spirit does not have flesh and bones" (Luke 24.39).
