When you talk to Muslims, try to get them to address the fact the disciples sincerely believed they saw Jesus resurrected, talked with Him, touched Him and ate with Him after He died on the cross. Paul even met some of them, such as Peter, James and John who all gave the same testimony of having seen Jesus alive from the dead. Whereas James was a family skeptic, Paul was an outsider skeptic, both of whom converted because of seeing Jesus resurrected.

The Muslim though insists on the word of a man in a cave six centuries later who couldn't even write, had someone write, possibly a century after Mohammed died, saying that Jesus didn't die and claimed this was Mohammed's writing. If you are willing to believe Jesus didn't die despite all the New Testament documentation then you can believe anything, because who cares about evidence.

How strange too it would be if Jesus didn't die, because then Jesus would be lying since He gave the impression He died on the cross. John, the disciple whom Jesus loved the most, was with Mary, mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene at the cross when Jesus died, so they too are lying according to Islam. As per Mohammed, the disciples would be all a bunch of liars, including Jesus whom the Koran says is a prophet of God. Would a prophet be such a deceitful liar?

Of course the Muslim insists that it was all embellished, and all these additional facts were added in later. That is hard to believe without anything to support that allegation. The Muslim should address the fact that the disciples truly believed they saw Jesus alive from the dead, and Jesus would have been giving a false impression of having died if He didn't actually die on the cross. And would Jesus be in any condition to be walking around and talking to the disciples after His flogging, poked with a spear so the water in His chest cavity came out and the holes in His feet and hands?

People who create religions like Islam or others after the crucifixion to reject God's love have a judgment coming upon them which I would not wish upon my worse enemy. Religions prior to the time of Christ are not off the hook either, for there is such a thing as common grace. For example, let's say there was an individual on a remote island who didn't like the gods and the idols worshipped by the people on his island. He looks up at the mountains and the stars to realize the creator of these is his God. Surely, if he was shown God's Word, he would accept the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and so would be saved.
