Single Life
Why did Paul say he wished everyone could be single like him? It is because by being single, you have less destractions, and more time for the Word and prayer. You are not caught up in commitments which necessarily require our time and attention.
Whether single or not, this is an important principle. We need to allocate some time every day for dilligent study and prayer, otherwise we will not keep that spiritual ground we have gained.
This is experientally proven.
