John Calvin was wrong about the "Sons of God". He said the sons of God are the children of Seth.
The sons of God were not the children of Seth, but fallen angels who left their proper habitation to have sex with daughters of men to create the giants of Nephilim an attempt at corrupting man's seed so the Messiah would not be born.
