Why Do You Keep Asking if God Exists?

You might be able to fool people, but you can't fool God. He sees the depths of your heart's subterranean motivation.

The reason you keep asking if God exists is because you know He exists, but you would prefer to lean on your mental gymnastics to try to formulate some reason why He doesn't exist. The disobedient and independent self gets off on that, though it is not reality, but does require an eternal separation from God since your soul will not be extinguished in the foretaste of hell, nor will it be annihilated from entering into hell itself.

Do you believe the universe is billions of years old (the "dust" Gen. 2.7), and the first God-conscious Adamic man was made in God's image about 6000 years ago; the six days of creation are literal "summary" days of the period of restoration after God made the earth desolate and waste in Gen. 1.2 due to the sin of the inhabitants of Earth's earliest ages?

Do you realize it is God who said look at the clever construction of the mountains and the stars to know He did it?

Do you believe there has not been an eternity of the past of cause and effects for we would not still be sinning if we had an eternity to be perfected (without sin and selfishness), therefore everything in nature and the cosmos must have been created?

Do you see this further proven with the exponential improvement in the progression of our conscience these past 6000 years, it won't take another 6000 years (or need to approach infinity) to reach sinlessness in the saved (unexplainable by the limited view of evolutionary theory)?

In observing the vast glory of our universe where nothing in nature happens all by itself, does this reveal the uncreated must have created; by comparison, is it clear none can compare to the love of Christ, for He is the Alpha and the Omega (Rev. 1.8,11; 21.6,13), it all begins and ends with Him, and all things are summed up in Christ? Do you believe Jesus when He said He is God the great "I AM" who created you and that He existed before the foundations of the world?
