I have a theory. Mormons call themselves Mormons which is very similar to the word Morons. May I suggest Mormons get off on being morons, for what cult would be so proud of a name that is so closely tied to the word moron? I think it would feed into a false sense of martyrdom when people call them morons which is really just another way of saying they are a 'stupid' cult.
