Jesus actually died, because if Jesus didn't actually die, then He presents Himself as a liar as having died, but not really doing so. If Jesus didn't actually die on the cross as you suggest, then it makes Jesus a liar, because Jesus prophesied He would die on the cross, and for all our sins. He would be a false prophet in that case. No matter how you examine it, Muhammad proves himself to be a liar (video). The reason why the Jews put Jesus to death is just as the Old Testament prophesied why the Jews would reject their own Messiah (nothing about experimenting). Not only the Jews rejected Him and His atonement, but so do the Muslims.
"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors" (Is. 53.37,9,12).
Bearing the sins of man and intercession for the transgressors is only possible if He died. Why do you lie in your own heart about who Jesus was? It shows the evil of your own heart to revise history and reality.
John saw Jesus die physically, "When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit. The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced. And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand" (John 19.26,30-42).
Do you realize how evil your heart is to alter history? You are antichrist. God makes you a liar.
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son" (1 John 2.22). "He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son" (1 John 5.10).
You are a bad person, a sinner who has sinned and in need of salvation. You've sinned the greatest sin ever known to man, that of calling Jesus a liar. Contact me when you give your life to Christ and tell me about the Good News in your life.
