In 1844 Joseph Smith actually rejected what he wrote in the Book of Mormon. His evolving theology kept changing. When Mormons come to your door they will hand you the book of Morons, because it is the least offensive before bringing you to their 'other' books that pars out the Father, Son and Spirit as not one Being, but 3 beings and the teaching of infinite regress of beings as atheists teach an infinite regress of nature.
