Watchman Nee wrote, "If He were to choose and decide in lieu of us we would have no real connection with the act or deed done because our hearts would not have been exercised towards it" (p. 108, vol. 3, The Spiritual Man, CFP white cover only).
This is why you find Calvinists to be cold people because they did not genuinely repent and believe in Christ to be regenerated.
