Jesus visits the cunning repeatedly, even though they were trying to ruin him

Jesus was invited to a Pharisees home in Luke 7.36 and again in Luke 14. Even after the Pharisees said "Get out of here if you want to live" (13.31). Their motivation in saying this was not because they cared for Jesus, but because they wanted to stop him from going to Jerusalem. So Jesus said, "For it wouldn't do for a prophet of God to be killed EXCEPT in Jerusalem!" (v.33).

He was not afraid to face the Pharisees after he denounced them so many times, even though he knew they were trying to trick him to break their add-on laws.

Jesus would not be tricked by their absurd add-on laws to the rest of the sabbath.
