There are just too many points of evidence and corroboration for Jesus not to have died on the cross. In fact, you could say, no better proof exists than what we have in the Bible and extra-Biblical texts.

Yes, I agree that there is a lot of evidence for Jesus' existence and His death on the cross. There is definitely enough historical data to support the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth.
