Smothered by Fictional Writings

Have you ever wondered why there are so many fictional books?

If you inundate yourself with fictional writings you are more inclined to think the 66 books of the Bible are fictional and thus, Satan wins the day.

I encourage you to put down that Stephen King novel and pick up the Bible to get to know God and Jesus His only begotten Son.

It's hard to do so, because when you hear the highest grossing horror movie of all time is off of King's book "IT", you just got to read the book and go to the movie. That's what normal people do right?

How is that really though going to uplift and strengthen your spirit spending all that time away from a relationship with Jesus Christ? Assuming you are born-again, i.e. a Christian.
