Was There a Great Apostacy in the Chuch as Mormons Teach?

Does it make any sense for Jesus to tell the disciples to spread the gospel to the whole world, and have God's Son establish His Church to then fall away and have some guy in the 19th century start it up again? What absurdity! God has always had a remnant people. THROUGHOUT THE AGES!

"Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." (Eph. 3.21).

If there was a Great Apostasy and the Church disappeared until Joseph Smith then why did Jesus say, "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matt. 28.20)?

How can the Church be glorified if it fell apart in complete apostasy?

Mormons are in a dark and dreadful state of mind and delusion. Satan has given them strong delusion.

"'But the word of the Lord will last forever.' And that word is the Good News that was preached to you." (1 Pet. 1.25).

"Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear" (Heb. 12.28).

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matt. 16.18).

The 7 church periods continued to persist. No Great Apostasy. The Church is to grow in Ephesians 4.

Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all. Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
