1000 Years of the Kingdom

4000 Years of the OT Period,
2000 Years of the Dispensation of Grace, and
1000 Years of the Millennial Reign on Earth

Some may think Jesus could return in a million years from now or that the odds of Jesus returning today are so slim, as He did not return in previous centuries, that we need not concern ourselves with the coming kingdom. But not so fast!

The kingdom is for 1000 years, not 100 years or 10,000 years, but only 1000 years. This is a clue to a special truth. The clue is this: If the kingdom is for only 1000 years, should the dispensation of grace be a million years or even 10,000 years for that matter? It would seem to me that if the kingdom is only a thousand years, then the dispensation of grace should not be more than a couple thousand of years proportionally, considering the fact that the OT period was 4000 years. Therefore, the return of Christ would be sometime this century.

This is an exponential progression in conscience from 4000 to 2000 to 1000 years. Wow!

This is the position the Bible points to-premillennial-but if say there was another 100,000 or 1 million years or 5 billion years in the dispensation of grace, then one would have to concede that the 1000 years is happening now, which is the historical view.

Nonetheless, the most reasonable reading of the Scriptures in our day and age, indicates that the premillennial view is most assured given the evidence.
