Solution: the government needs to restrict corporations in terms of advertising and increase taxes on fast food joints and crap food in grocery stories and all along the food chain. Tax big business that produces big crap.

Avoid corn syrup that is in virtually everything except a frozen bag of vegetables or fruits and vegetables on the shelves. Fructose is a sin.

It's been proven that eating healthily increases physical activity. Eating poorly reduces physical activity. Another study shows kids physical activity has not changed in the past 30 years, yet children are more obese. This is due to the type of food intake, meal sizes and fructose (cheap corn syrup) that produces increased caloric density.

More than 3 meals a day, and snacking, is adding to the problem.
