Accepting the Authority of the Apostles

Accepting the Authority of the Apostles

"God hath set some in the church, first apostles...Are all apostles?" (1 Cor. 12.28,29)."And what I do I will continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their deeds" (2 Cor. 11.12-15).

"I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, like men sentenced to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are ill-clad and buffeted and homeless, And we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when slandered, we try to conciliate; we have become, and are now, as the refuse of the world, the offscouring of all things" (1 Cor. 4.9-13). Why is this happening? "For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ" (Gal. 1.12).
"To the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all...that you may be filled with all the fulness of God" (Eph. 1.23, 3.19). God's plan for the Church has not reached its pinnacle yet. Ever since the first century, the Church has lost its "first love" towards the Apostles (for a region of churches) who are directly commissioned by God to appoint Elders of a locality. Today we cannot find even 12 Apostles in agreement: "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3.3). "Have you tried them which say they are apostles" (Rev. 2.2)? We will bring together 12 Apostles, with more to follow in agreement, which God "hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation" (2 Cor. 5.18) by asking of ourselves a certain number of questions. This will establish harmony and strong foundation from which to do the Work of the Ministry (Eph. 4.11) "on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us" (v.20) to beseech you to be reconciled to God. Therefore, we continue to wait and encourage brothers and sisters to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit for when God reveals you are directly chosen for the regional work of Apostles and to make your presence known here on the forums and Meeting Place Finder for the body of Christ. This setup is needed for the last Revival-Elders of localities-before the return of Christ in Person with His overcomer believers to receive the reward of reigning over countries, provinces and cities in the millennial kingdom.

In addition to Peter being an Apostle for the churches of Judea, he was also an Elder for the church of Jerusalem. In speaking to "the elders [of various localities] which are among you," "a word to you who are elders in the churches. I, too, am an elder" (1 Peter 5.1). Take "care for the flock of God" (v.2) in your locality and in approving the Elders of a meeting places. The church which was usually younger ought to "submit yourselves unto the elder" and "accept the authority of the elders" (v.5), both Elders of a locality and Elders of meeting places. Today, the churches are much older and have dropped off the authority of the Elders of a locality. Peter said, "I plan to keep reminding you of these things...Yes, I believe I should keep reminding you of these things as long as I live...So I will work hard to make things clear to you. I want you to remember them long after I am gone" (2 Peter 1.12-15) "He is especially hard on those...who despise authority" (2.10). "If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed. Do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all" (2 Thess. 3.14-16).

The Ministry (Eph. 4.11)

The Ministry - Eph. 4.11

The purpose of the forums is to bring together twelve informal apostles, then 70, 120, 3000 and 5000. The twelve will join together by the grace of God to ask specific questions of themselves and the Apostles to follow for the assurance of their authority in the Ministry of the Work for the Church. The Ministry of the Apostles appoint Elders to take care of independent Biblical localities. And the Elder(s) of a locality approves the Elder(s) of a meeting place who take care of a meeting place within the church locality.

Each meeting place will be submitted on the Meeting Place Finder map for the Body of Christ as people agree to Biblical locality and want to meet on that basis where 2 or 3 are gathered together in His name. The Church will freely use the Meeting Place Finder to find a place to meet weekly on the Lord's day (or any other time they choose) under proper authority for the churches, founded upon the Apostles (and the prophets of old).

The Meeting Place Finder fulfills two main functions:
  • The Apostles utilize the Finder to select Elders to take care of a whole Biblical locality, and in turn, those Elders take care of their own locality using the Finder to set up many meeting places within by approving Elders of meeting places who also use the Finder for their meeting place;
  • The body of Christ accesses the Finder to find a place to fellowship locally, preferably in meeting places within walking distance according to already established governmental boundaries.
First there were three, then the twelve. Next, Jesus sent out seventy (Luke 10.1,17). Later 120 (Acts 1.15) gathered until 3000 were saved and 5000 more. Praise God!

Love, in Christ,

Twelve Apostles then 70, and more shall follow.
