  1. When Does the Tribulation Take Place?

    by , 04-16-2012 at 12:21 AM (Being Accounted Ready (Matt. 24.40-42, Luke 21.36, Rev. 3.10) Before the Tribulation 2023 - 2030)
Matthew 24.32 says, "From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near."

The fig tree always represents Israel. In fact, Jesus cursed a fig tree because Israel was still being so unrighteous. The summer points to the millennial kingdom when Jesus returns to reign on earth.

Israel became a nation again May 14, 1948. This is the tender branch.

"In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door" (v.33).

Right at the door and you can know could include the very day for those who are discerning enough.

Daniel's final seven (9.27) is 2,520 days (360x7) like all the previous sixty-nine sevens (vv.25-26).

We need to find a 2,520 day period that begins and ends on significant Jewish dates. The first four feasts pertain to when Jesus came the first time. The last three feasts deal with His second coming. Since the first of those last three feasts is Feast of Trumpets dealing with rapture we should have a first rapture before the Tribulation though it is according to readiness and not a forgone conclusion for all Christians. Matt. 24.40-42, Luke 21.36 and Rev. 3.10 are conditional statements for the first rapture.

“And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come (Joel 2.30-31). "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood" (Rev. 6.12).

These would constitute unique or very rare events before the Tribulation begins. Focusing on the red blood moon there is a very rare kind, the lunar tetrad, in which a red blood moon occurs four times in a row over a two year period. And they are even more rare when they land on passover, tabernacles and again on passover and tabernacles. The 6th time this happened since Christ was 1949/50 when Israel became a nation (armistice treaties were signed in 1949) and 1967/68 when Israel took over Jerusalem June 7, 1967. The next time it will occur is 2014/15.

The progression is obvious from the nation to the capital to the third temple. Hence, we can conclude ...

  2. We Know When the Tribulation Takes Place

Do you think it is reasonable for Jesus to return within a lifetime when Israel becomes a nation again?

"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh" (Matt. 24.32).

I think we can all agree the fig tree represents Israel and the summer is the millennial kingdom. The branch was tender no later than May 14, 1948 when Israel became a nation again.

"Summer is nigh" would be no longer than within a lifetime. "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away" (Ps. 90.10).

Abraham entered the promise land at the age of 75. "So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran" (Gen. 12.4).

1948 + 75 = 2023. Therefore, Jesus steps down on the mount of olives no later than 2023 so the very latest the Tribulation would be is from 2016-23.

Before the Tribulation starts certain events must take place.

"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood" (Joel 2.31, Rev. 6.12).

Haiti 2010 was the second greatest number of deaths of any earthquake in history. Japan 2011 caused Japan to shut down all 50+ of is nuclear power plants and it was the 4th greatest earthquake in history in terms of magnitude. Back to back, year over year, the world has never seen two earthquakes together this devastating. Never! Wake up people!

There are 4 kinds of solar eclipses. The rarest is the Hybrid occurring about 5% of the time. And there are 3 kinds of hybrids. The H3 the rarest occurring about 5% of the time. And a solar eclipse is even more rare when it is a long version, that is, lasting longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds according to NASA. Amazingly, on Nov. 3, 2013 is the rarest of all solar eclipses--the long H3 Hybrid. The H3 Hybrid starts as a partial eclipse and finishes off as a total eclipse to produce that black sackcloth effect. This is the 4th one since Christ and won't happen ...

  3. The Law of Cause and Effect and Passivity

"MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED for lack of knowledge" (Hos. 4.6) is certainly applicable to our day. Christians nowadays generally are lacking in two kinds of knowledge: (1) a knowledge of the conditions by which evil spirits work; and (2) a knowledge of the principle of spiritual life. Ignorance here is furnishing Satan and his evil spirits an incredible advantage and is inflicting enormous harm on the church of God. What grieves our hearts is that, even as folly is prevailing, Christians continue to boast of their familiarity with the Bible and of the abundance of their experience. They do not realize that their much so-called knowledge is mere human reasoning, quite devoid of usefulness. Humility before the Lord and eagerness in seeking the revelation of God’s truths are almost unknown. While boasting in the richness of their knowledge, they themselves sink into the very quicksand from which they can neither extricate themselves nor rescue others. It is indeed a most dreadful scene.

The Law of Cause and Effect

For each and every thing God has created there is a law. All actions are governed by laws. Hence evil spirits also operate according to definite laws, one of which is that certain causes will produce certain effects, Now should anyone fulfill the conditions for the working of evil spirits (whether he fulfills them willingly, such as the witch, the medium, or the sorcerer—or unwittingly, such as the Christian), then he has definitely given ground to them to work on him. Notice that the law of cause and effect is involved here. Fire scorches, water drowns: these are laws: none escapes scorching if he falls into fire, nor can any escape drowning if he jumps into water. Likewise everyone who meets the requirements for the operation of evil spirits will be harmed by them. Hence the same law of cause and effect is operative here. It pays no heed to whether one is a Christian or not; once the conditions are met, the evil spirits do not fail to act. Just as a Christian cannot avoid being scorched or drowned if he falls into fire or water, so he cannot escape the danger of being hurt if he ignorantly supplies the prerequisities for the working of evil spirits. The fire scorches everything put into it; the water drowns all who are immersed in it; and evil spirits attack all who give them ground. One will not escape simply because he is a child of God. If he provides the enemy the opportunity, he will not hesitate to ...
  4. The Math Does Not Lie When Jesus Returns (Rev. 3.3)

What is the probability of a great earthquake, unique solar eclipse and unique red blood moon in that order over 3 years?

    Unique Earthquake Odds

What is the probability a great earthquake at least 2nd most deaths? 1 in 2010 Haiti.

What is the probability of a great earthquake at least 4th greatest on the richter magnitude scale? 3 in 2011 Japan

What is the probability of a great earthquake with at least 2nd most deaths and at least 4th greatest in magnitude? 0%

    Conservatively let's say 1 in 2010 then.

    Unique Solar Eclipse Odds
What is the probability of the rarest solar eclipse happening? There are 4 kinds of solar eclipses, the rarest which is called the hybrid occurring about 5% of the time. There are 3 kinds of hybrids, the rarest which is the H3 occurring 5% of that 5% of the time. They are additionally even more rare when they are considered long lasting more than 1 minute and 30 seconds. There have been 3 long H3's since Christ. The odds are approximately 1 in 700.

What is the probability of this rare earthquake and eclipse together? (1 in 2010) x (1 in 700) = 1 in 1.4 million.

    Unique Lunar Tetrad Odds
What are the odds that two Tetrads could occur in a single century? 1 in 20.

What are the odds that those two Tetrads in that century land on two key dates when Israel became a nation and entered Jerusalem? (1 in 100) x (1 in 99)

What are the odds, therefore of two Tetrads landing in the 20th century AND on the two key dates (1949/50 and 1967/68)? (1 in 20) x (2 in 100) x (1 in 99) ~ 1 in 100,000

Odds of Being in Proper Order
    1 in 6 according to Rev. 6.12

Jesus returning on Tisha B'Av (when the 1st and 2nd Temples were destroyed)
7 out of 19 years 2,520 days from Feast of Trumpets to Tisha B'Av

    Jesus returning on a Sunday
    1 in 7

Tisha B'Av held over from Saturday
    1 in 7

    Combined Odds
    (1 in 1.4 million) x (1 in 100,000) x (1 in 6) x (7 in 19) x (1 in 7) x (1 in 7) = 1 in 112,000,000,000,000.

You read that correctly. 1 in 112 trillion. Pay attention! Wake up.
  5. Consecration: Bondslaves Redeemed

On His Side and Consecration on Our Side

We ought to know the purpose of God in creating us and in redeeming us. He wishes for us to manifest the life of His Son and share in His Son’s glory. Even before the foundation of the world, God has purposed one purpose, which is to say, that He wants to have many sons just as He has the only begotten Son. And thus it states in Romans 8.29: “whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Why has God done such things? Because He had foreordained us to be conformed to the image of His Son. This is the eternal purpose of God. He purchases and redeems us that He may possess us.

Yet God uses two means to possess us: one is on His side, the other is on our side. On His side, God sent His Son to die for us, to buy us back. According to the right of purchase, we are His bondslaves. Thank the Lord, He has bought us. God once said to Abraham, “He that is born in the house, and he that is bought with money, must needs be circumcised” (Gen. 17.13). Hallelujah, we are not only born of God we are also bought by Him.

We are bought by God and thus belong to Him, yet He sets us free. Although according to the right of redemption we belong to God, He nonetheless will not force us into service. He will let us go if we desire to serve mammon, the world, the belly, or other idols. For the moment God is inactive: He is waiting for us to move: till one day we say on our side: “O God, I am Your bondslave not only because You have bought me, but also because I will gladly serve You.” A verse in Romans 6 unveils a most precious principle concerning consecration. We become God’s bondslaves not only for the reason that He has bought us, but also for the reason “that to whom ye present yourselves as servants unto obedience, his servants ye arewhom ye obey” (v.16a).

Here, then, are the two means by which God possesses us. On the one side, we are His bondslaves because He has bought us; on the other side, we willingly and gladly present ourselves to Him as His bondslaves. As regards law, we become God’s bondslaves on the day He purchased and redeemed us. As regards experience, we become His bondslaves on the day we offer up ourselves to Him. From the viewpoint of right and ownership, we are God’s bondslaves on the day we were redeemed. From the viewpoint of practice, we are truly His bondslaves ...
  6. Premillennialism vs. Amillennialism

1 Corinthians 15:20-28 teaches that when Christ returns, He will deliver up the kingdom to God. The kingdom will not begin on earth when He comes back; rather, it's existence on the earth will end.
How do you know the "gospel of the kingdom of God" is the 1000 years where Satan "should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled" (Rev. 20.3)? Are not the nations deceived still now with wars and rumors of wars? Whereas “the kingdom of God is righteous and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 14.17). "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison" (Rev. 20.7). Was Satan in prison prior to Jesus? or is Satan in prison now with 10,000 children dying every day due to starvation? Overcomers in Christ "shall reign with him a thousand years" (v.6). Who is reigning over the nations now in the highest positions of government (2.26,27) certainly not believers? Could it be Jesus at the right hand of the Father does not mean He is reigning on earth for 1000 years right now?

Let us review the things we have already seen previously concerning the kingdom of heaven. After the birth of Christ, there comes one who prepares the way for Him. His name is John, and he proclaims that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The Lord, together with the apostles whom He sends forth, announce the same news. What does it mean? Later on, as noted in chapters 8 and 9, we see that the Lord heals the sick and casts out demons, and that all these are closely related to the nearness of the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5-7 speaks of the nature of the kingdom of heaven: which is, that those who belong to this kingdom are absolutely righteous towards themselves, absolutely gracious towards others, and absolutely pure towards God. In Matthew 10 we learn that the Lord sends out His apostles. And in Matthew 11-12 we see that a great transition begins occurring, as though the kingdom of heaven is now being taken away from the Jews.

Now with regard to the kingdom of heaven found spoken of in Matthew 13, some interpreters have ...
  7. A Coy and Aloof Person is Subjective

    by , 08-03-2014 at 01:39 PM (Being Accounted Ready (Matt. 24.40-42, Luke 21.36, Rev. 3.10) Before the Tribulation 2023 - 2030)
A Coy and Aloof Person is Subjective

The subjectivity of a person can be detected in the smallest of things, for it is a natural habit. If you have learned the essential lesson of having your subjectivity broken, you will easily discern it in many small details of life. A subjective person is that way in all things. He loves to control people; he delights in being opinionated; he takes pleasure in giving orders. He knows what to do in every situation and circumstance. When a young person steps out to serve the Lord, put him together with a few other people, and soon you will see whether or not he is subjective. If he is alone in one place, you are not apt to find out. But when two people are put together, you see at once that the subjective person will try to dominate the other. He will insist on eating certain things, wearing clothing in a certain way, and sleeping at a certain hour. He is omniscient and omnipotent. Put two sisters in one room, and you will discern which sister, if either, is subjective. Put two subjective people together, and they will come to an impasse. One such person may live peacefully, but two such people cannot live on together.

This does not mean, however, that hereafter we should not say anything. When there is difficulty in the work or a problem with people, we cannot be unfaithful by remaining aloof. What we mean is that after we have spoken, we will not force them to adhere. If they do not listen after we have spoken, we will not feel hurt. So precious and dear to themselves are the opinions of some people that they are hurt if they are not listened to. Such is the feeling of subjective people. Yet, for the sake of faithfulness, we have to speak out. To speak out, though, is not to be construed as signifying that the person doing the speaking is a busybody or that he has a talkative temperament. But for those who are subjective, it is wrong to speak without first having been taught. God has not appointed us to be masters of all. Some have the habit of always speaking or teaching in every situation. This plainly indicates that one is a subjective person.

Unless his kind of temperament is broken, he is not fit to work for God. A subjective person is not necessarily a faithful person. One who is faithful speaks only when it is needed and not because he likes to speak or has the lust for talking. He speaks in order to rescue people from error. If he is rejected, he is not distressed since ...
