27 books of the NT!

Also, don't let accuser say these were too late a dates to be considered authentic. It should be said that they weren't all of a sudden written at these dates, but obviously they were in writing (in part as one begins to write) and in the hearts of the writers from the day the events took place written about. Even so, these dates are not even a generation from the time of the cross, so this is not enough time in between to be considered legend anyway.

Another excuse detractors try for is to say the authors of certain books are not the name of those books. But it should be said the reason we know is because of certain clues given in their words, and we should not forsake tradition either. Obviously there are reasons why this is common knowledge today that Mark wrote Mark, Matthew wrote Matthew, and Luke wrote Luke. I could give examples, but it is more rewarding if you search them out yourselves. If you want help in proofs though, just ask, or post what you find as evidences yourself.

Thank you for the info. That is a historicists view. Amen.

This is a futurist view. A historicalist view believes 70 A.D. was when John wrote the book of Revelation.
