I like how Jesus judges people for not reading the Bible. He said, "You are deceived, because you don't know the power of the Scriptures" (Matt. 22.29). And He said, "Haven't you read what was spoken to you by God?" (Matt. v.31). How else do you know the power of the Scriptures except by reading?

As an aside, when the Sadducees challenged Jesus about the resurrection, He said, God is "the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob...not the God of the dead, but of the living" (v.32). He is always outsmarting His challengers.

A person would know this if they read the Scriptures sincerely. For example, how else will know the Triune God unless you read the Scriptures? Many people make claims on the Bible without ever reading the Bible.
