Stephen Fry the comedian made an excellent point. Mormonism is centered on a woman of a certain age. Her parents have died and her children are grown up. That motherly role has been lost. To rekindle that feeling she is promised in the after life she will be reunited with all her family members again for eternity. To which Steph Fry said that would be God awful to be with drunken uncles and other family members that are not the most desirable to be around.
