Read Luke 1:26-38
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
26 Mary and Joseph as well as Jesus lived in Nazareth. Jesus would be about two years younger than John the Baptist.
27 Mary was a virgin a pure vessel to hold the Lord. Mary was engaged to Joseph and remained faithful to him. Today waiting to have sex until marriage is something that most do not do but sex was for marriage because that is the way God planned it. Both Mary and Joseph were of David’s line.
28 Mary was the only person ever chosen of God to carry the Lord and both her and Joseph were chosen to care for Him. Mary was the first segregate mother, one for the Lord to come into the world as a child.
29 Mary was a virgin. Virgins don’t have children. Mary did not have sex to become pregnant. Mary was also humble as many believers are when they are called to do something they feel they are not ready or unprepared by with Him leading us we can do what He wants of us. Mary also may have not wanted to hear this as many people called run from the Lord for a time but are humbled to come back and trust Him.
30 We as believers find grace thru Christ with God as Mary did and because of the grace we receive we can serve Him.
31 To bear a son was the goal of a woman at this time because it was a man’s world. This would be the heir thus being the rightful King thru the line of David. Jesus means The Lord’s salvation. By Jesus we can be saved.
32 Jesus was the one of promise, the Messiah or Christ. Jesus came to die but will return to take His throne.
33 Jesus reign today is thru the church and one day will be a physical reign on earth but now it is a spiritually reign.
34 Mary restates that she is a virgin and had not had sex with any man. Mary is not saying she would not have sex with any man she was just waiting for her marriage to do so as many women did in those days.
35 The Holy Spirit went into her womb and grew into the child Jesus which grew into the man who died. Jesus is the Son of God because He was born of God. Jesus became God’s Son at His birth although Jesus was eternally before hand and still today.
36 John the Baptist was 6 months old Jesus would be born 9 months later. Mary is a cousin thru her mother’s side due to John’s father serving as a priest. Which means John’s dad was a Levite thus not being a descendant of David but of the priests.
37 All things are possible if God has them to be done. Mary a virgin would have a child, this was unspeakable but by God it was paid possible.
38 Mary submits to the Lord’s will. This did not mean it was always easy but it was the Lord who carried her thru it. The Lord will carry us though what we are called to do.

How do you get that Jesus would be 2 years younger than John the Baptist?

"And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months.... And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth" (Luke 1.24,26).

Furthermore, you contradicted yourself when you said, "Jesus would be about two years younger than John the Baptist" and "John the Baptist was 6 months old Jesus would be born 9 months later." That would be 6 months apart, not 2 years.

Be more careful with your words.
