Non-Christians,

Anything to convince you to believe in Christ as events unfold. I know this might not interest you but it's worth a shot. Just so you know, the 666th Pope according to Roman numerals from when Napoleon killed the Pope (1798-99) will be the 268th Pope, the next and last Pope, according to the Malachy Prophecy from the 12th century. According to the Prophecy this was suppose to take place in the year 2012 by averaging out the ages of the Popes, but 2012 rolled around and it didn't happen. People thought the prophecy had failed. But as it turns out Ratzinger a year ago said he would retire within a year.

According to the Prophecy this last Pope will have some derivation of his name Peter the Roman and be the last Pope when the Vatican will be nuked according to Rev. 17.16. The Tribulation ensues, that is, 2520 days according to Daniel's prophecy (Dan. 9.24-27), in agreement with the book of Revelation where the last 1260 days (1/2 of 2,520) is the Great Tribulation. This all takes place before Jesus steps down on the mount of olives as per Zech. 14.4, Acts 1.11, Rev. 1.7.

2,520 is the smallest number divisible by all numbers from 2 to 10 as a basic prophetic working unit. 360 biblical days/yr x 7 = 2,520.

"And the ten horns [contemporary kings of political Rome (Rev. 18)-the European Union-centered in Rome the 7 hilled city] which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore [Catholic Church-religious Rome (Rev. 17)], and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire." (Rev. 17.16).

Rev. 12 to 19 give the details of the major points of the Tribulation Trumpets of Rev. 7 to 11. Since Rev. 17 gives details of the major points of the first half of the 7 year Tribulation, we should expect to see similar terminology in the 4 Trumpets in Rev. 8 which give us the major points that make up the first half (1260 days) of the Tribulation. Religious Rome (ch. 17) is destroyed in the first half of the Tribulation, and political Rome (ch. 18) is destroyed in the second half.

"As it were a great mountain burning with fire...there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp" (Rev. 8.8,10).

The European Union is the most powerful entity on the planet with GDP of 17 trillion per year.
